Merlot 65%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 12%, Malbec 3%, of vines aged 40 years on average
aged in new oak barriques for 12 to 18 months
Colour: deep ruby
Nose: aromas of violet, prune, liquorice with notes of spices and forest floors. 2010 shows rich candied dark fruits
Palate: round and silky tannins, with beautiful and long finish

Château Haut Rocher - St Emilion Grand Cru
The Château has been in the same family from the 18th Century taking its name from the alliance between the de Monteil and de Rocher, and is being managed by Jérôme et Béatrice de Monteil since January 2010. The vineyard is of 13ha, of which 8ha are of St Emilion Grand Cru denomination (Bordeaux region, France) with vines of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon growing on clay and limestone soils and benefiting from South to South East sun exposure.
