Colour: deep garnet with red hues
Nose: aromas of ripe morello cherries and dark fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, with a hint of spices
Palate: round and silky tannins, and complex and long finish
Enjoyed best: 17 to 18°C

Château Tayac - Côtes de Bourg
Pierre Saturny bought this beautiful Château in 1959 and with his wife Annick they have transformed it in one of the most successful ones of the Côtes de Bourg appelation, today followed in their footsteps by their two sons, Philippe and Loic. The vineyard of 30ha is found on the Dordogne riverbank with a view on the Gironde estuary, north of Bordeaux in France. The traditionnal grape varities grown their on Clay and Limestone soils are Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot for the red wines and, Sauvignon, Semillon and Muscadelle for the still and sparkling white wines (please have a look at our "Bubbly" page)
